"Nightingale's Last Song"

General Info:
"Nightingale's Last Song" was created in late 2006 (principle photography) and early 2007 (post production) with a crew of only two people, producer Darryl Hogan, and director Philip David Hogan. The film was shot on a shoe string budget of $250, stretching the innovative and imaginative skills of both men to the limit.

The music in the film was provided courtesy of Mr. Kevin MacLeod, who also provided the music for SSE's previous production, "Moonlight In Your Blood".

The Cast included Kevin Lewis, as the lead "John Nightingale", Ken Martin as his co-lead "Robert Hamilton", as well as the immensely talented Bridget Wareham as "Catherine Shaw" and Roger Maunder as the silent but sinister "Sebastian Cypher".

The film' story line, as well as its style and atmosphere, are a throw back to the detective story "film noir" of the 1950's.

Story Summary:
On the night of his retirement, private detective John Nightingale is forced into saving a man he wished was dead by a woman who may be more than either of them realizes. What happens before midnight will change all of their lives forever.
